The design is inspired by Lao traditions that exude a warm and inviting atmosphere amid tranquil surroundings. The Lao character has been highly respected, giving the rooms a luxurious, authentic, charming look and feel, with exotic wooden floors, traditional torchis walls, and clay-tiled roofs.
The property consists of two houses, Lamache House at the side of the Mekong River amongst the mango trees, and Khamboua House beside the Khan River. Lamache House, built in 1989, features seven rooms and suites and combines a warm atmosphere inspired by tradition, with contemporary comfort and facilities.
Khamboua House is a jewel of traditional Lao architecture, featuring a unique garden on the Nam Khan River, and comprises eight rooms, including one executive suite.
