Les artisans d'Angkor craft college

Traditional Carving and Silk Production - Two colleges originally established by the European Union to teach young adults in the art of Sandstone and Woodcarving, lacquer ware of ceremonial artefacts and modern silk weaving.

The Carving College is in Siem Reap Town close to the local market providing a busy half morning or afternoon of searching for local products.

The Silk farm is about 18 kilometres out of town where all stages of silk production from growing Mulberry trees, breeding silk worms, unravelling the cocoons and producing beautiful lengths of fabric.
